Q: Do you offer free shipping? 
A: Yes — we offer free standard shipping worldwide on all orders over USD 100.

 All orders are shipped from our workshop and may take 5–14 business days to arrive, depending on destination.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order? 
A: Typical delivery time is between 5 to 14 business days. For express shipping, delivery time is 2–5 business days. Any customs processing may add extra days. 

Q: Which countries do you ship to?
A: We ship worldwide — to nearly every country. If your country doesn’t appear in the checkout dropdown, please contact us at hello@nomadrootsstudio.com and we will help you manually. 

Product & Quality

Q: Are these products handmade or mass-produced?
A: Every Nomad Roots item is handcrafted by skilled artisans. Many designs come from ancient Miao heritage — no two items are exactly the same. You are receiving a unique piece with natural variation that makes it special. 

Q: What materials do you use? 
A: Our pieces are made from quality alloy with silver- or gold-plating, natural crystals (Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Green Crystal, Clear Crystal, etc.), and traditional textile or batik elements for some limited-edition items.

Q: Will the plating wear off over time? 
A: With regular wear and proper care, the plating will last many months to years. To prolong lifespan: avoid wearing under salt water or while sleeping, try not to spray perfume directly near the piece, and store in a dry, air-tight pouch when not worn. 

Returns & Exchanges

Q: What if the item is damaged or defective? 
A: Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We will offer a replacement or full refund upon verification. We may ask you to ship the item back.

Q: Can I return for other reasons (size / change of mind)? 
A: Yes — as long as the item is in original condition, unworn, and returned within 14 days of receipt. Buyer pays return shipping cost. 

Care & Use

Q: How to care for my jewelry? 

  • Remove jewelry before swimming, showering or sleeping.

  • Keep away from lotions, perfume, and strong chemicals.

  • Clean gently with a soft dry cloth.

  • Store in the original pouch or box to avoid tarnishing.

Custom & Bespoke Orders

Q: Do you offer customization of designs (crystal type, length, plating)?

A: Yes — we accept custom orders: you can choose your crystal type, chain length, plating finish (silver / gold), or even request a unique totem design inspired by Miao heritage. Please contact us at hello@nomadrootsstudio.com for a bespoke quote.

Q: Do you ship to remote or restricted areas? 
A: Generally yes — but delivery time may be longer. If you are unsure, contact us before placing an order.

Q: How can I track my order? 
A: Once your order is shipped, we will send you a tracking number. You can track your package via the courier’s website.
