At Nomad Roots Studio, we stand behind the quality of our pieces and the craftsmanship behind every collection.
Your Nomad Roots jewelry is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase against material defects and production faults. This guarantee applies only to items purchased directly from our official online store.
During the two-year guarantee period, if your piece is found to have a material or craftsmanship defect, we will offer a free repair whenever possible. If repair is not possible, or if the repair cost exceeds the value of the item, we may offer a replacement of equal value or store credit at our discretion.
What This Guarantee Covers
Our two-year guarantee covers:
- Material defects caused during production
- Craftsmanship faults
- Broken clasps, loose components, or structural issues caused by manufacturing defects
- Defects that affect the normal use of the jewelry
Each case will be reviewed individually based on the condition of the item and proof of purchase.
What This Guarantee Does Not Cover
This guarantee does not cover damage caused by:
- Improper use or careless handling
- Accidents, impact, pulling, dropping, or crushing
- Exposure to water, perfume, lotion, sweat, chemicals, cleaning products, pools, hot springs, or humid environments
- Natural oxidation, tarnishing, fading, or aging of metal surfaces
- Normal wear and tear from daily use
- Repairs or modifications made by a third party
- Loss, theft, or damage during transit
- Wearable parts such as cords, threads, leather, fabric, ribbons, or adjustable strings
- Natural variations in vintage embroidery, handmade textiles, stones, beads, or artisan-made components
Because many of our pieces are handmade or made with vintage-inspired materials, small differences in texture, color, shape, pattern, oxidation, or surface marks are part of the character of the piece and are not considered defects.
About Silver, Oxidation & Aged Finishes
Silver-toned jewelry and silver-plated pieces naturally react with air, moisture, skin oils, sweat, perfume, and water over time. This may cause the surface to darken, tarnish, or develop an aged appearance.
This is a normal reaction and not a quality defect.
Some Nomad Roots pieces are intentionally finished with an oxidized, antique, or aged effect to highlight texture, depth, and artisan character. Darkened details, uneven tones, vintage-style marks, or traces of oxidation may be part of the original design.
We believe these natural changes are part of the life of the piece — a quiet record of time, touch, and wear.
To slow oxidation and preserve the finish, we recommend keeping your jewelry dry, storing it in a sealed pouch when not in use, and gently wiping it with a soft dry cloth after wearing.
About Vintage Embroidery & Handmade Textiles
Some Nomad Roots pieces are made with vintage-inspired embroidery, handmade textiles, or reclaimed textile elements. These materials may show natural variations such as softened colors, uneven threads, small marks, fading, or signs of age.
These details are not flaws. They are part of the beauty and history of textile-based craft.
Please avoid pulling, soaking, rubbing, or exposing textile pieces to water, perfume, oils, or harsh sunlight for long periods.
How to Use Your Guarantee
To request warranty service, please contact us within the two-year guarantee period with:
- Your order number
- Proof of purchase
- Clear photos of the item
- A brief description of the issue
Once we review your request, we will let you know whether the item qualifies for repair, replacement, or store credit.
For security, we recommend using tracked shipping when sending any item back to us. Nomad Roots Studio is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during return transit.
